Psoriasis is an inflammatory skin disease that results in rapid skin turnover. The disease generally presents as dry, thick, red, raised plaques on the skin. These plaques are covered with silvery-white scales, which tends to itch. Psoriasis often presents with other diseases, including psoriatic arthritis and Crohn’s Disease.
